Josephyne Patten is a classically-trained soprano and musician, currently based out of Portland, OR. Ms. Patten received a Master of Music in Opera Performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, under the tutelage of Dr. Rebecca Folsom. Prior to her time in Boston, she received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Northern Arizona University. Recent stage credits include Donna Anna (cvr) (Don Giovanni), Contessa (Le nozze di Figaro), Magda Sorel (The Consul), Madame Lidione (Dialogues des Carmélites), Tatyana (cvr) (Eugene Onegin), and Fiordiligi (cvr) (Così fan tutte). She is an Arizona District Winner and Western Region Participant of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Ms. Patten is an accomplished voice and beginning piano instructor. She was most recently a Premier Teacher at MozArt Music Academy in Los Angeles, where she taught 35 students of all ages and levels. As a recent member of the Music Teachers Association of California, Ms. Patten had multiple students enroll and pass their Certificate of Merit exams in March of 2025. Ms. Patten is a three-time nominee and winner of the “MozArt Best Maestro Award” at MozArt Music Academy.
