Lauren Haendler is a classically trained soprano from Portland, Oregon. A life-long performer, she has always jumped at any chance to sing; whether that be popular music, jazz, musical theatre, or classical performance. She holds a degree in Music Education from the University of Oregon, with emphases in choral and elementary education. She has sung with the Oregon Bach Festival Chorus, Eugene Symphony Chorus, University of Oregon Opera Ensemble, and has toured Spain with the University of Oregon Chamber Choir. Lauren has experience teaching in both secondary and elementary classroom settings. As a private teacher and classroom educator, Lauren is passionate about cultivating students’ unique voices, assisting young singers in developing healthy technique that allows them to sing confidently across genres. Her teaching style is relaxed and student-led, she encourages students to explore music they are passionate about. Whether you are interested in performing, auditioning, or simply singing for fun, Lauren aims to create a supportive environment to help you sing with your true voice, freely and easily.
