Charles Dalrymple

Charles began playing the violin at the age of seven and earned his Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Portland State University in the spring of 2026. Throughout his studies, he trained in violin, viola, chamber music, and pedagogy with distinguished instructors including Dr. Tomás Cotik, Hamilton Cheifetz, Dr. Lisa Zweben, and Adam LaMotte.

Charles is currently a member of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, where he performs on both violin and viola. He is passionate about teaching students of all ages and experience levels, creating engaging lessons that build strong technical foundations, musical expression, and confidence. His goal is to help each student develop effective practice habits, critical problem-solving skills, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
