Geena Spigarelli

Geena Spigarelli has been working as a bass player for over 20 years, with extensive experience touring, performing, and working as a studio musician for countless bands and songwriters. As an educator, Geena has taught private lessons and music classes for students of all ages and skill levels for over a decade. She specializes in guitar, bass, and ukulele, and loves exploring the unique ways each student connects with music. With a strong focus on making lessons fun and engaging, Geena incorporates students’ musical preferences, games, songwriting, and production to teach music fundamentals.

Every lesson is individualized to help students reach their goals while building a lasting connection with the music they love. In 2025, Geena moved from Austin, Texas, to Portland, Oregon and is currently enrolled at Pacific University, where she is pursuing a degree in Music Therapy. Through her studies, she hopes to expand her teaching practice and deepen her understanding of the developmental and therapeutic benefits of music. Geena views teaching as a creative outlet and enjoys the variety of musical perspectives her students bring to every lesson
