Kristine Joyce Lijauco

Teacher Joyce is a passionate music educator and Waldorf teacher with over a decade of experience inspiring children through music, creativity, and joyful learning. She believes that music is far more than a skill—it nurtures confidence, imagination, discipline, and a lifelong love of beauty. Throughout her career, she has taught in Waldorf schools across the Philippines, the United States, and most recently the United Kingdom, where she served as both a Class Teacher and Music Teacher. Her international experience has given her the opportunity to work with children from diverse backgrounds while remaining rooted in the holistic philosophy of educating the whole child—head, heart, and hands.

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication. Alongside her teaching career, she has an extensive background in choral singing, musical theatre, piano, and vocal performance. She trained with the internationally acclaimed University of the Philippines Madrigal Singers and has held leadership positions in university choral ensembles, performing and winning awards in international competitions and concert tours in China, Japan, Indonesia, and Singapore. Whether she is leading a choir, teaching recorder, introducing a young child to the piano, or helping students discover the joy of singing, Teacher Joyce creates a warm and encouraging environment.

Her lessons balance strong musical foundations with creativity, movement, and play.
