McKenzie Smith is a passionate voice teacher, performer, and choral director with over ten years of experience. She holds a Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance and has performed extensively, including masterworks with the Philadelphia Orchestra and New York Philharmonic, numerous operatic roles with Westminster Opera Studio, and the role of Fidalmain Il Matrimonio Segreto at the Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, SC. Recently completing her Master’s in Voice Pedagogy at Shenandoah University, she has developed a deep understanding of vocal function, anatomy, and technique. Her expertise allows her to guide singers in building healthy, sustainable vocal habits across genres. In addition to her studies, she spent four years as a K-12 choral director, where she directed musicals, conducted choirs, and taught voice, piano, and guitar. As an avid performer of opera, musical theater, and choral music, she brings a well-rounded perspective to her teaching. Above all, she is passionate about helping singers unlock their full vocal and musical potential, fostering confidence and artistry in every student she teaches.
