Mzuri Robertson

Mzuri A. Robertson is dedicated to helping students discover the joy and confidence that comes from learning the violin. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she fosters a positive, encouraging environment in which students develop strong technical skills, musical artistry, and a lifelong appreciation for music. She is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, earned a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Marylhurst University, and has a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the University of Oregon.

Mzuri has taught students of all ages in both private and public-school settings and has served as Assistant Conductor and sectional coach for the Salem Youth Symphony. She is passionate about helping each student reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong love of music.
